Chapman conferences are small, highly focused meetings, sponsored by the American Geophysical Union (AGU), to provide significant time for discussion and interaction. This conference will provide a forum for researchers in stratospheric and mesospheric chemistry, physics and dynamics. The topics of discussion include planetary wave propagation, observations and climatologies of gravity waves and tides, photochemical problems in the stratopause region and atmospheric energetics.
