NASA will present the International Space Station's Fifth Annual Teleconference
Series via live and interactive satellite programs, providing a unique
opportunity for students and professional groups to further knowledge in life
sciences, biomedicine and biotechnology through an in-depth look at the benefits
of research aboard the International Space Station.
On Thursday February 19, 1998, 12:302:00 p.m. (ET), International Space
Station: Countdown to Launch will provide middle and high school students and
teachers the opportunity to speak directly with astronauts, scientists,
researchers and engineers as they discuss plans for the International Space
Station.
On Thursday February 26, 1998, 1:003:00 p.m. (ET), International Space
Station: Open for Business offers live and interactive dialog with world-class
experts about International Space Station scientific and commercial research
plans, opportunities and benefits.
